The Merchant of Venice (S2)

What English class would be complete without Shakespeare? None! Therefore this semester, we read Shakespeare’s comedy play The Merchant of Venice. Unlike previous Shakespeare plays that I have studied before like Julius Caesar and Romeo and Juilet. This play was a funny, exciting, and had a satisfying ending! To celebrate our learning of The Merchant of Venice, I wrote a short essay on the significance of the three caskets as well as made a short musical skit on the significance of cross-dressing in the play!
